Inverclyde Music Festival is a competitive Festival, held in Inverclyde, and by that and other means, aims to cultivate and encourage the appreciation and study of music, dance and speech.
Our Constitution
We provide a platform for performances in music, dance and speech to be held in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere, in front of an audience. The main emphasis is on taking part rather than winning.
We seek to include the competitive element in circumstances where constructive advice engenders improvement of the performances, judged against the standards of others.
Our Committee
The Festival is a registered charity and run by a Committee of volunteers who are involved in preparation for the Festival throughout the year.
Please read the syllabus carefully, along with the regulations, and make sure you have selected the appropriate class(es) for your age and skill level.
